A hand-push machine with a 46cm working-width, the Alpina AL5 46 A is the perfect choice for medium-large areas where a high level of control and manoeuvrability is essential.
Powering the blade is a 139cc STIGA ST140 engine, which, thanks to STIGA’s AutoChoke system, will prove easy to get started every single time. The engine develops a sizeable 3hp and employs fuel-saving OHV technology.
The AL5 46A has been designed with special attention paid to comfort and convenience: there’s a height-adjustable handlebar with an ergonomically optimised grip; simple single-point cutting-height adjustment; a top-mounted carry-handle for easy site-to-site movement; and a practical ‘collector full’ warning indicator that prevents overfilling and blockages.
Constructed around a strong steel chassis, the AL5 46 A is impressively robust and will easily withstand any accidental bumps and bangs.
Ball-bearing mounts for the wheels mean they’ll roll as freely with age as they did when new; while a smart-grip handle on the roomy 60-litre collector makes removal and emptying hassle-free.
This model also features a front grass comb that ensures a neat and even finish by lifting the grass prior to cutting.
