Cut-back high, light-blocking branches and trim the tops of tall hedges from the safety and comfort of the ground with the Alpina AMT 20 Li Kit cordless multi-tool!
At its heart is a 20V (4Ah) lithium-ion battery that provides cable- and fume-free power; and which offers the sort of rapid charge-times and extended run-times that makes lithium-ion the technology of choice for the discerning gardener.
The AMT 20 Li Kit is based around a lengthy telescopic shaft that will enable you to access all but the very highest branches and hedge-tops without having to use ladders.
Easy to control and manoeuvre for any operator, the AMT 20 Li Kit comes with a comfort-enhancing shoulder harness that facilitates long periods of low-effort trimming and pruning.
Balance-optimising battery positioning ensures excellent handling; while an ergonomically sculpted handle and light-touch trigger mean you’ll have a comfortable grip at all times.
No tools are required to switch attachments.
Battery compatible with all Alpina 20V cordless machines.
Hedgetrimmer Attachment:
The hedgetrimmer attachment runs for up to 70 minutes on one charge and has a sizeable 18mm tooth-gap that makes it possible to trim thicker, woodier growth with no blockages or stalling.
The blades measure 45.5cm in length and are double sided for fast bi-directional cutting.
Pruner Attachment:
The pruner attachment comprises a 20cm guide-bar and benefits from a compact design that makes it ideal for use in space-restricted situations.
Features include an automatic pump that delivers a constant supply of oil to the bar and chain; and a branch-support bumper for neat, accurate results.
Chainsaw attachment run-time is around 20 minutes.

FAQ 1 questionWhat type of maintenance should be done on the saw accessory tool?
FAQ 1 answerTo ensure the garden multi tool is functioning correctly and to maximise its lifetime, we recommended that you clean the battery housing and contacts, as well as the space behind the bar cover regularly (depending on the frequency and intensity of use), as dirt and sawdust constantly build up in these areas.
We recommend that you check the chain oil level inside the tank regularly in order to always ensure that the cutting tool is properly oiled. Then make sure that the chain is always running in the track and, if not, thread it yourself or visit an authorised maintenance provider.
It is important to refer to the user and maintenance manual for details of each of these tasks.
FAQ 2 questionDo the cutting blades need maintenance or sharpening?
FAQ 2 answerCutting (especially cutting hedges) leads to the accumulation of detritus and dirt between the blades. Without the necessary maintenance, this issue can reduce cutting performance.
The blades should therefore be cleaned and oiled after each period of use. This can be done with a dry cloth, using a brush if needed to remove more stubborn dirt. The blades can be oiled by applying a thin layer of specific oil (Stiga recommends using non-polluting products) along the upper edge of the blade.
Please see the user manual for more information on this point.
FAQ 3 questionThe blades of the hedge cutting accessory seem to be working as if they are not clean or fluid. What might have happened and what should I do?
FAQ 3 answerWhere the blades tend to catch and you notice a reduction of cutting performance, possibly along with more blade noise, you must check the cutting element.
If the problem persists even after cleaning and oiling the blades, the solution is to sharpen them.
For reasons of safety, this is best performed by an authorised Stiga vendor. Once sharpened, the cutting system will return to working precisely and fluidly.
Lastly, please note that an excessively worn or damaged blade must not be sharpened but always replaced. Again in this case, the Stiga vendor network is always available.
FAQ 4 questionWhat should I do when it is not being used?
FAQ 4 answerDuring the times when it is not being used, we recommend you clean the teeth of the cutting element and place the garden multi tool in a safe place, ensuring you protect the blade within their storage area.
FAQ 5 questionThe line no longer feeds out from the head. What might have happened?
FAQ 5 answerThe line failing to feed out may be associated with two main factors. The first, and the most likely, is that the line might be all used up and should therefore be replaced with a new reel. There is also the possibility that the line within the head has accidentally become caught in its own windings, and is preventing the end from freely feeding out through the holes. In this case, simply open the head and re-spool the line correctly inside.
These causes and solutions normally cover the majority of cases, but there may be a variety of others, associated with the methods of use, the surface treated and the weather conditions.
Note that consulting the user manual, in the section relating to the cutting head, may provide useful information for identifying the nature of the problem.
