The Alpina BT 98 SD is a Side-discharge ride-on mower powered by a STIGA petrol engine with a net power output of 6.5 kW @ 2,800 rpm, 6-gear mechanical transmission (5 forward and 1 reverse) and a 98 cm cutting deck. BT 98 SD makes it possible to choose between 7 different cutting heights, from 25 to 80 mm; the blades are operated using an electromagnetic clutch. The ergonomic seat back offers good driving comfort. The BT 98 SD is equipped with front headlamps and front bumper. The battery charger is not included. This garden mower can also be set to mulching mode using a mulching kit that can be purchased separately, as can the tow bar.
