Purpose built for mulching, the time-saving Alpina AL3 45 doesn’t collect grass-clippings – instead, they’re shredded and reduced to tiny, practically invisible particulates, which are then distributed across the lawn surface where their decomposition will produce an effective – and free – organic fertiliser.
A hand-propelled machine weighing only 23kg, the AL3 45 excels in terms of manoeuvrability and will therefore prove a great buy if your lawn has trees, ornaments, furniture and landscaping to work around.
The cutting-height on the AL3 45 adjusts through five positions to suit both the grass-conditions and your preferred finish.
Ball-bearing wheels – with a gentle soft tread – ensure a smooth run and will continue to roll freely with age; while a foldable handlebar means you’ll be able to find a spot for the mower in the most cluttered of sheds.
