Instead of a noisy, polluting and hard-to-start petrol engine, it utilises the latest lithium-ion battery technology. This, in combination with a super-efficient and long-lasting brushless motor, means you’ll enjoy extended battery run-times and performance levels comparable to similarly rated petrol-powered models.
Blending simple hand-propulsion with a relatively compact 38cm working-width and an impressively lightweight design, the Alpina AL1 3820 Li Kit offers excellent manoeuvrability and will therefore prove a great choice for smaller areas where there are obstacles to work around and between.
A carry-handle positioned on top of the mower makes it easy to pick-up and move; while single-lever cutting-height selection makes the pre-mowing set-up really quick and easy.
Further high-specification features include a polypropylene deck that keeps machine-weight to a minimum, whilst conferring robust impact-resistance; and a roomy 40-litre grassbox, which has been design-optimised to ensure it gets packed to capacity without any clogging.
This model comes with two 20V (4Ah) batteries, both of which can be used with all Alpina 20V garden machines (charger also included).
